Jelly earned her dry leg as a senior kid at the 2003 Buckeye Classic show. As a dry yearling in 2004, Jelly was GCH and BJDIS of 256 juniors at the Van Wert show. Jelly was the 2004 Reserve All-American LaMancha Dry Yearling. Due to a hectic work schedule, Jelly was bred in '04 to Duke, producing two gorgeous "LaSanchas", Jackie & Jasmin. Jelly gave me 2 does and a buck in 2006. One doe, Jezzibell, was retained, the other doe, Jezzikah is in the McQuitty Farm herd, and her buck, Pete, was sold and is residing in Indiana. Jelly freshened with a gorgeous mammary system, with a high, wide attachment and a beautiful fore. Her body is long, deep and level, and she finished her permanent championship in 2006, taking GCH at the OVDGA and SWODGA shows. Jelly was the 1st place 2 year old with 1st place udder, 1/2 of the 3rd place Dam & Daughter and part of the 3rd place LaMancha herd at the 2005 Ohio State Fair, and was the 2005 LaMancha ODGA Futurity Winner. Jelly's two daughters in our herd, Jackie (grade) and Jezzibell, both earned their dry legs in '06. Her daughter, Jasmin (grade) freshened with a beautiful mammary and solid, correct body, but, due to number restrictions, was sold. Jelly freshened in *June* of 2007 with a *single buck kid,* so needless to say, I was not thrilled :) Her milk production has skyrocketed, and her body is just as pretty as it was in '06. I was thrilled with Jelly's appraisal score, especially considering she was only a month fresh. Jelly was only shown 4 times in 2007, going 1x GCH, 1X RGCH and 2x BOB. In 2008, she gave me a gorgeous buck kid, Josh, who was retained and used as part of the 2008 breedings. She was the 18th place 5&6 Year Old, 1/4 of the 7th Place Herd, 1/3 of the 8th Place Best 3 Senior LaMancha Does, 1/2 of the 6th Place Dam & Daughter at the 2008 ADGA National Show. Jelly gave me ANOTHER buck kid in 2009, and is enjoying the year off from showing :) Jelly is bred to Notorius for 2010 kids.

Retaining Jezzibell was a no-brainer. Though she and her sister, Jezzikah, were both stunning as kids, Jez stood out to me and the decision was made. Jezzibell earned her dry leg in '06, forcing Bailey to be RGCH that day ;-) Jezzibell freshened with a single, beautiful doe kid in '07 (Sophie) and a wide, well attached and very productive mammary. Jezzibell was RGCH 1x in 07, so I'm terribly excited to see her as a 2 year old! Jezzibell aborted in 2008 and was shown milking through. She was 1/4 of the 7th Place Herd, 1/3 of the 8th Place Best 3 Senior LaMancha Does, 1/2 of the 6th Place Dam & Daughter at 2008 ADGA National Show. She is enjoying her year off in 2009. She is bred to Notorious for 2010 kids.

Saga was born to Kirt Schnipke's Ober-Boerd herd. When Kirt decided that he needed to cut numbers and focus on his Oberhasli, and Saga was offered to me, I jumped at the chance. I've always admired Pat McGeorge's Heavenly Hopes does, and, of course, I love P., so it only seemed natural :) Saga, though, decided she was better suited to be the foundation of Nikki's LaMancha herd instead of being a part of mine :) The two of them bonded when Nikki started using her as her showmanship goat, and their relationship has blossomed from there :) While she tolerates other people, her heart really does belong to Nikki. In 2008, Saga was the Showmanship goat for the 2nd Place National Showman in the Junior Division and 1/4 of the 7th Place Herd at the ADGA National Show. Saga "blessed" Nikki with buck after buck after buck, but finally gave her that coveted doe kid this year! Her daughter out of Notorius, Karen, is a real head-turner, and took GCH her first show out! Karen has also inherited her mom's bond with Nikki, and so, even if for no other reason, both Saga and Karen have earned their place in the herd :) Saga was her GCH/Supreme Champion Senior Doe at the Fairfield County Fair in 2008 and 2009, and was with Nikki when she won 1st place Junior, 2nd place supreme showman in 2008 and 1st place Junior, 1st place supreme showman in 2009. Saga is bred to Notorius for 2010 kids.

My inbred and linebred beauty, I love this little girl. Super long, wide and level, she's stood directly behind Riley and/or Anna in the few rings she's been in this year. Now with them out of the way...Ginnie took GCH 4x and RGCH 2x in 2007, earning her dry leg at the ODGA Buckeye Classic Show in 2008. She was the 10th place LaMancha Senior Dry Yearling at the 2008 ADGA National Show. Ginnie freshened in 2009 better than I even hoped for. She's incredibly open, dairy and angular and has an amazingly high and wide, snugly attached mammary. She is, however, lacking in maturity, so I am drying her up early this year to give her time to grow. I'm very, very excited about her future.

What an amazing little girl. There is NOTHING I don't love about this doe. She has the most amazing width in the rear end, and I can't wait for it to be filled with her paternal grand-dam's 1st place National Show udder :) Sophie was 2X RGCH as a junior kid in 07. Wow! Sophie freshened in 2009 and knocked my socks off....but not right away :) She was acutally on my short list to cull when she first freshened! But as time passed, she really changed and came into her own! She was RGCH in the Youth Show at the SEODGA/Fayette Spring Fling (pictured) and was GCH and BOB over 2 lovely challengers at the ODGA Buckeye Classic show. She was GCH at the MODGA show and then finished out her permanent championship with her third and final milking leg at the Hartford Independent Fair. I'm kinda glad I didn't get rid of her :) Sophie is bred to Notorius for 2010 kids.

When Diana had twin does out of P. and Brooke and offered me one, I couldn't resist. This blonde beauty is long, level, wide and very correct. She's exhibiting the size and power that I'd always hoped for from the P. kids, but never really got :) Her littermate sister, Cookie, resides in the Classic Acres herd.
